Welcome to Clinical Massage Therapy !

Do you need a therapist who will work on your  injury, chronic pain, or stress?  Are you an athlete who wants to improve their proformance? You have come to the right place!

My name is Roxanne Castille, I am a licensed (AL#3036) massage therapist trained & certified in a variety of modalities. A few of those modalities are Active Isolated Stretching (AIS), Cupping Therapy, Deep Tissue, Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapy, Neuromuscular, Orthopedic, Kinesiology Taping & Reiki. Click on the "Therapy & Rates" page to learn more about the various techniques I use in my work.

For the athletes out there my experience with AIS encompassed:  Alabama's women's soccer team, Kentucky University women's soccer team, UAB football team, select UAB tennis, softball, & track girls, & most recently Stanford University's women's gymnastic girls (while here for the NCAA Gymnastic Championships).

Ever wondered how massage works?  Massage therapy is the manipulation of muscle and connective tissue to enhance the function of those tissues which promotes healing, relaxation and reduces stress.  There are many different techniques or "modalities" for massage therapy.  Orthopedic massage and AIS focus on increasing range of motion and balancing muscle groups. During any given session I normally use several techniques to best serve the client's needs.
